FIND A PROPERTY
Browse available properties through City Hall and visit the location before buying. You must contact a realtor to purchase a property. Properties range from smaller rooms and apartments to houses, villas and larger premises. Check the available space and garage capacity for the property you choose.
KEYS, VISITORS AND PUBLIC ACCESS
At a property door, a visitor can knock. The resident receives a notification and can press H to invite them; the visitor also presses H to accept the invitation. An invitation is different from a permanent set of keys.
Owners use /givekeys for a nearby person, /takekeys to revoke a person's keys and /takeallkeys to revoke all shared keys. Check the recipient before confirming. Use /opentoall from inside your own property to toggle its public door access.
A locked entrance, property password and shared keys are separate controls. Entering a wrong password can trigger the property alarm. Keep access arrangements up to date when a roommate or employee leaves.
DECORATE YOUR PROPERTY
Use /decorate on a property where you have decoration access to open the furniture editor. Choose a piece, position and rotate it, then confirm placement through the editor. Leave room around doors, workstations and storage for their interactions.
Furniture decoration and functional inventory items are separate systems. A placed crafting table, stove or safe needs its own item and placement flow. Use /pickuptable or /pickupstorage for those objects, rather than assuming the furniture editor moves them.
/removealldecorations removes the property's decorations. Use it only when you intend to clear the layout; it is not the command for adjusting a single chair.
SET UP A WARDROBE
Stand inside your owned home at the spot where you want the wardrobe and use /setwardrobe. Without a wardrobe position, the clothing interaction asks you to set one first.
Open the wardrobe and choose Change Clothes to wear a saved outfit, or Delete Outfit to remove a saved entry. Use clear outfit names so you can distinguish civilian, work and event clothing. Deleting an outfit entry is separate from changing what you are wearing.
STORAGE AND SECURITY
Place safes, lockers, fridges and other supported storage. Passwords and alarms add protection, but burglary systems can target properties and storage. Empty a unit before moving it with /pickupstorage. Inventory guide.
PRIVATE GARAGES AND EXTRA SPACES
Use your property's vehicle-storage point to put a vehicle away, then select the stored plate from its garage menu when you need it. The menu reports a full garage when all available spaces are occupied.
Inside a property you own, /upgradegarage requests another space up to that property's maximum. The upgrade costs $10,000 cash while the existing capacity is below five spaces, then $20,000 per additional space. A property already at its maximum cannot be expanded further.
Check the property and your cash before requesting the upgrade.
WORK FROM HOME
Place crafting equipment and supported plants where your property allows. A home can combine storage, growing and production, with each system using its own tools and interactions. Farming · Crafting and cooking.
TRANSFER A PROPERTY TO ANOTHER CITIZEN
At a property you own, use /sellproperty to select a nearby recipient. Left and Right cycle through nearby players; the marker identifies the selected person. Enter confirms the selection and Escape cancels. Check the person carefully before confirming a transfer.
This changes ownership, whereas /givekeys shares access. Arrange payment explicitly with the other player; selecting someone in the transfer interface is not a substitute for agreeing and settling a price. City Hall also has property-title services.
The nearby-player selector works within 20 metres and is disabled by FPS mode. Use /fps off if the selector does not appear. After a transfer, review who should retain access and let the new owner manage their keys.
DOOR PASSWORDS AND LOCKS
A door may check property access, job authorization, a password or specialist security equipment. Use the door interaction and follow the displayed requirement. Being allowed through one entrance does not automatically authorize every restricted door inside.
A wrong password can trigger an alarm. Numeric property passwords use values from 1 to 10,000. Share access carefully and revoke old keys when access should end.
Different secured doors need different tools: an ordinary lockpick does not bypass every electronic panel, hardened lock or heist gate. Hacking, drilling, thermal charges, explosives and keycards belong to their specific door types. Drilling has an E stop control.
