SHOWROOM DISPLAYS AND TEST DRIVES
Visit a showroom and inspect the displayed vehicle and price. The purchase interaction checks your funds before transferring the vehicle. Compare the model and condition, then confirm the intended vehicle rather than another nearby display.
Test drives require a car dealer. Ask the dealer to arrange one; a missing-dealer or unavailable-vehicle message means that display cannot be driven immediately.
For dealership display listings, sit in the vehicle while using the selling interaction. You must own it and there must be a free display space. Used-car listings and dealer stock orders are described in the sections below.
BUYING FROM A DEALER
Ask about the vehicle you want, its price and the terms offered. Displayed stock can provide purchase or test options through the dealership system. Confirm the correct vehicle before finalizing the sale.
DEALER ORDERS AND STOCK
Dealer stock is more than a list of cars that instantly spawn for a buyer. Orders can require dealership employment, the correct business documentation, sufficient funds and room under the city quota. Some vehicle classes also check trucking skill.
If orders are on hold while shipments process, finish the shipment cycle before ordering again. Collect the ordered shipment through its pickup interaction and keep the pickup area clear. Government vehicles are not ordinary public sales, and some catalogue vehicles require a dealer to place the order.
Boss Actions includes the dealership management menu and sold-vehicle records. Use those records to keep track of completed sales separately from stock waiting to be delivered.
USED LISTINGS AND PRIVATE TRANSFERS
Drive the vehicle you intend to sell to the used-car selling point and remain seated for its interaction. Set the listing price before confirming. The lot has a limited number of display spaces and also refuses another listing when you already have a vehicle for sale.
A buyer selects the displayed vehicle and pays the quoted price. The seller can remove their own listing. Inspect the vehicle and its condition before buying, then check the ownership record and arrange keys.
For a direct ownership transfer, stand within three metres of the buyer and sit in or face the intended vehicle before using /sellvehicle. Agree on payment first: this command selects the vehicle and recipient, not a negotiated sale price. A car dealer can initiate /buyvehicle; the current owner receives a confirmation requiring them to type sell.
AFTER THE PURCHASE
Arrange keys, registration, storage and maintenance. The licensing center lists owned vehicles and their location state. Vehicle ownership · Maintenance.
