WATCH A TELEVISION
Stand near a supported television and use /tv. TV Channels selects a channel; Play Video accepts a video source; Web Browser opens a web page. The screen is shared in the world, so choose content appropriate for the people watching with you.
Use Volume to adjust sound and Interact to control the active browser view. Leave the interaction view when you are finished so your normal movement controls work again. A link that cannot load in the in-game browser will not become playable just because it was accepted as text.
VEHICLE MUSIC AND CUSTOM RADIO STATIONS
Inside a vehicle, use /radio or the Car radio entry in the vehicle menu. Enter a supported media URL, set the volume and choose whether to loop it. Playback controls include pausing and resuming, so you can stop the sound without choosing another link.
Placed boomboxes use their own nearby E interaction to open music controls. The vehicle or object you selected determines which source you are adjusting. A media URL must be reachable by the player's game browser to play.
Custom broadcast stations also appear through the ordinary vehicle radio selection and follow the game's radio volume setting. This music system is separate from the handheld voice radio used to speak with other players.
NEWS CAMERAS AND MICROPHONES
Use /camera to take out the news camera. While holding it, E enters the news-camera view and M enters the movie-camera view. Use the displayed camera controls to frame the shot, and leave the camera view before trying to move normally.
/mic equips the handheld microphone and /bmic equips the boom microphone. These props let a reporter, camera operator and sound operator stage a broadcast together. They are separate from your phone camera and do not by themselves publish a news article.
PLACE AND CLEAN GRAFFITI
Use graffiti equipment to choose New Graffiti or, when a nearby piece is eligible, Overwrite Nearest. Enter a valid image URL. The image needs to be reachable by the game; a web page containing an image is not necessarily a direct image URL.
Aim at the surface to preview the artwork. Scroll to rotate, E confirms placement and G cancels the preview. Invalid targets refuse placement. Once painting begins, wait for the progress to finish; E cancels that working stage.
Cleaning uses a separate equipment action and progress sequence.
WRITE, LEAVE AND EDIT NOTES
Use a notepad to open the writing interface. Enter the message and use its drop action to leave a note at your position. Other players can interact with the placed note to read it.
Opening an existing note loads its text; Update saves changes to that note. Closing the interface and dropping a new note are different actions, so use the intended button before walking away.
WORK FOR WEAZEL NEWS
Weazel employees have station storage, a job locker, a vehicle garage and nearby-customer invoicing. At the station, press E at the appropriate Storage, Garage or Park vehicle prompt.
The garage offers a news van and an unmarked van, with aircraft access where permitted. Authorized management also has Boss Actions. Bring your recording and microphone equipment before leaving for an interview; a company vehicle does not itself start a broadcast.
HANDHELD CAMERA VIEWS
/cam equips the photo camera, /vcam the video camera and /pcam the phone-camera prop. Press E to enter its camera view after equipping it. Use the same command again to put its prop away.
The camera view supports framing and zoom for screenshots and roleplay. For a news broadcast overlay and microphone props, use the news equipment instead.
