UNDERSTAND YOUR STATUS
Food, water, tiredness, intoxication and trained stamina are separate stats. Hunger and thirst begin full for a new character and fall while you are awake. An empty food or water meter damages your health repeatedly. Do not wait until you are injured to carry a meal and a drink.
Tiredness works in the opposite direction: it builds up while you are awake, and reaching the maximum also causes health damage. Sleeping reduces it. Your health slowly regenerates while alive, but this does not replace treatment for bleeding or injured body parts; read the medical guide.
Trained stamina affects running recovery and unlocks parkour at 80%. It decays slowly and drops after death. See gym training for membership, exercises and progression, then parkour controls.
BUY, EAT AND PREPARE FOOD
At a fast-food counter, press E and choose Food or Drinks, then select the product and quoted price. Carry meals and drinks before a longer shift. Use the consumable from your inventory when you need to restore the relevant stat.
Supported vending machines show an E purchase prompt for their product. Some nearby machines are games instead and show Play; read the prompt before paying. Machine detection is disabled in FPS mode.
Meals, raw ingredients, drinks and alcohol do not all have the same effect. Use the cooking recipes and a suitable food workstation to prepare dishes. Alcohol also affects intoxication; it is not just another water refill.
SLEEP AND RECOVERY
Use /sleep when you are somewhere suitable to rest. Use /sleep again to wake up. Sleeping blocks movement, driving and combat controls while your tiredness falls, so park safely before starting.
Food and water stop draining during normal sleep. Tiredness falls by roughly 2.4 percentage points every five seconds, so recovering from a full tiredness meter takes around three and a half minutes. Sleep does not train stamina or treat a broken limb.
BATHROOM ROLEPLAY
/pee requires at least 20% thirst and consumes 20 percentage points. /poop requires at least 25% hunger and consumes 25 points. /vomit requires at least 15% of both food and water and consumes 15 points of each. If the requirements are not met, the action refuses with a notification.
These actions spend your existing food and water stats. There is no separate bladder meter here. Replenish your food and drink afterward if needed.
STATISTICS, THE SCOREBOARD AND TABLET
Skills grow through the activities that use them, such as gathering, fishing, crafting, trucking and other work. The statistics display also tracks playtime, character creation, kills and deaths. A trained skill can affect yields or unlock a route; it is separate from temporary hunger, thirst or sprint energy.
Delete opens the scoreboard.
Carry a tablet and use F5 to open it. Race-score interactions can also open the tablet directly at a particular race. Close the tablet interface before returning to normal movement and other menus.
